Team Mafia Industries Race RZR

Minneapolis, Aug. 23, 2007 – Polaris Industries today announced Mafia Industries is its newest factory sponsored race team for the RANGER RZR. The partnership couples one of the industry leaders in short course racing with the hottest high performance side by side on the market.

“We are excited to add Mafia Industries to our growing list of factory sponsored race teams.” said Craig Scanlon, Product Line Sales Manager for the Polaris Side by Side Division. “The RANGER RZR’s power, performance and responsiveness coupled with Mafia’s racing and technical expertise will guarantee success on the short course.”

Team Mafia will consist of three racers and a complete support staff which includes:

Team owner/Mgr, Jeff Smith
Driver 1, Chad "Rockstar" Mittag-Been riding most of his life and is the only person to clear the 70 foot triple at Lake Elsinore. 
Driver 2, Travis "Pinky" Peterson-Team Mafia’s first driver and very influential in getting short track racing started.
Driver 3, Corey "T-Rex" Macomber-Newest member of Team Mafia and is an ex-Pro Motocross rider.

Team Mafia will be racing their short-course modified RANGER RZR in the CORR Racing Series. Their first race in the RZR is Antelope Valley, Sept. 15-16.
