Eichner Dominates the Sand with Outlaw 525 S

Polaris Factory Racer Doug Eichner was smokin’
in the sand this past weekend at the WORCS race
at Pismo Beach. Eichner, aboard the Polaris
Outlaw 525 S, pulled the holeshot and never
looked back, winning the race by more than two
and a half minutes.
Eichner, well known for his sand racing
ability said, "This is my third consecutive win
at the WORCS Pismo Beach race but I have to say
the performance of the Outlaw 525 S made the
ride a definite thrill and is the best handling
sand machine I have ridden to date."
This is Eichner’s second Pro Main Event win
in the WORCS Series this season, but he
has multiple wins in the Open Pro and Pro
Production class as well. He won the Pro Main
Event at the WORCS’ Zaca Station MX on an Outlaw
525 IRS earlier this season and also has won the
ITP QuadCross Open-Pro on his first outing
aboard the Outlaw 525 S.
The Outlaw 525 S, introduced for 2008, was
touted by Polaris as the machine for the sand
enthusiast. Eichner’s convincing win proves this
Polaris is a force to be reckoned with in the
sand.
