Echeconnee Off-Road Park Located in Macon,
Georgia will be Open for ATV Practice
January 2, 2008 - Macon,
GA - Dick Rich and his son, Jason,
announced today that Echeconnee Off-Road Park
located in Macon, Georgia will be open for ATV
practice during the months of January and
February 2008 and possibly even further into the
spring.
"With all the national racers heading South
during the winter to stay in shape and get all
the practice in that they can before the
beginning of the '08 seasons, we wanted to offer
them a place to practice that was not quite as
far as Florida and offer the racers an excellent
practice facility," track owner Dick Rich said.
"We are keeping Echeconnee open all winter
long with daily track grooming, open gates and
hookups. We know how much all the national
racers love Echeconnee and this is our way of
letting them know that the feeling is mutual."
Echeconnee will be open from 9 a.m. until 4
p.m. for practice Monday through Saturday. A day
of practice will cost a rider $20 and, if they
prefer to stay on the grounds, hookups are
available for $20 per day. Extended stays are
welcome and the hookup fee includes water and
electric.
"We won't have any EMS services during
practice and all riders will be required to sign
a release form before being allowed to
practice." Rich said. "There will be track
personnel on site each day of practice and my
son, Jason, will be living at the track to head
up our practice staff. You don't have to call
ahead unless you just want to let us know of
your arrival time. Just show up and enjoy
practice at the nationally acclaimed
Echeconnee track."
In addition to being open for practice, Dr.
David Reise of Moto TST Training will conduct
training camps during January and February which
will be held at Echeconnee Off-Road Park. These
camps are designed to greatly enhance a racer's
core strengths and endurance for the upcoming
season.
"We've already had our first training camp of
the year and Dick and Jason Rich have the
Echeconnee facility in top notch condition. The
track is perfect for practice and training."
stated Reise. "If a rider can conquer the sands
of Echeconnee along with our training program,
they'll be hard to beat on any other national
track in the United States."
