Jennifer Albright Joins GEICO Off-Road Racing Will Compete in 2008 GNCC Season

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (Jan. 9, 2008)  – GEICO Off-Road Racing announced Jennifer Albright has joined its team and will race the entire 2008 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC). Albright will compete in the Women's Quad A Class.

In only her second full year of GNCC racing in 2007, Albright finished fourth in the Women's class and earned the national number 205. Becoming the first ATV rider to join the GEICO-sponsored team, Albright will ride the GEICO-sponsored Yamaha YFZ450 in 2008 and will continue to run the familiar No. 335.

"I'm excited to join GEICO Off-Road Racing," said Albright. "It's certainly a privilege to be the first ATV rider on the team, and we're looking for great results in 2008. I can't wait for the gates to drop in Florida!"

About GNCC Racing:
The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country series is America’s premier off-road racing series. The 13-round championship series is produced exclusively by Racer Productions and has run since 1973. GNCC Racing will air weekly television shows on the Versus network starting August 2. GNCC featured sponsors include Can-Am, Parts Unlimited, Moose Racing, Maxxis, Pirelli, Wiseco, Acerbis, Elka, Geico, Klotz, FMF, ITP and Weekend Warrior, and riders compete for over $3 million in series prizes and contingency money.
