Rekluse Sponsors GNCC Holeshot Award
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (February 8, 2008) --
Racer Productions, producers of the Can-Am Grand
National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, has
announced Rekluse Motorsports as a new sponsor
for the 2008 GNCC Season. Rekluse, maker of the
Z-Start automatic clutch, will also sponsor the
ATV XC2 Holeshot Award, distributing $100 per
event to the fastest starter in the class (a
total of $1300 to the Pro-Am racers in that
division).
“We’ve reached the point where we can reach
out to riders in the East, and there’s no better
way than to join the GNCC Series,” says Albert
Youngwerth, President Rekluse Motorsports Inc.
“We believe our product is especially effective
in the conditions you’ll find in GNCCs. With the
Z-Start clutch, you can find traction where
others can’t, so it’s a significant advantage in
technical situations.”
Introduced last year, the Z-Start Pro clutch
is the first clutch to provide stock-like feel
at the lever, but still provides 100 percent
override. Like all Rekluse Z-Start clutches, the
clutch system can retrofit to most manual clutch
dirt bikes and ATVs, and provides perfect
traction and power delivery without having to
work the clutch lever. The system is especially
helpful in low traction, technical situations
and also helps riders save energy, which is
especially helpful in long-distance races.

The 2008 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country
Series kicks off with the Triton GNCC in
Melbourne, Fla. on March 1-4. ATVs will practice
on Saturday, March 1, and race Sunday, March 2.
Bikes will practice on Monday, March 3, and race
Tuesday, March 4.
