Holmes Excels at Endstone

Paul Holmes |
Paul Holmes made an impressive start to the
JH Quad Racing British Pro Class 2008 and now
leads after two rounds.
The bank holiday weekend played host to the
first and second round at the Endstone track in
Oxford . ATV World Yamaha rider Paul Holmes was
keen to make a good start and he did so with an
emphatic double win on Sunday’s first round. In
round two, Paul took another convincing win in
race one but after taking the holeshot in race
two, he came off the track and had to work his
way through the pack to finish in sixth place.
Paul said “I felt really good all weekend and my
focus was to get the championship off to a good
start. I’m really pleased that I’m leading after
two rounds. They were my last races as a
teenager as I’m 20 on Tuesday so it was nice to
finish them with a win.”
Well done to Ollie Drabble who won on his
first time out with his new ATV World race
prepared Yamaha YFM 250R and to Tyler Soar who
won the first round in his category on the new
E-ATV 85.
Team ATV World Yamaha are now in the final
testing stages of the new team 2008 quads which
will have their maiden races at the first round
of the ACU British Quad Motocross Championship
which takes place on April the 6th at Whiteway
Barton in Suffolk. Paul wishes to thank all the
2008 sponsors for their continued support and to
the organizers who ran a well organized meeting
and were a credit to the club.
