POST RACE REPORT FROM BALLANCE MOTOX ATVA GNC
Casey Martin and Carrie Auchter Results
Due to another engine failure early in the
week Casey was once again riding a practice
bike. During the Pro Am Unlimited qualifying
heat Casey was running behind lap traffic and
was pushed into the LCQ. Things were looking up
during the LCQ when he came from mid pack to
take over the third spot and get into the main
event. Despite an in air collision with another
rider Casey was able to hold on and finish
strong. In the final moto Casey was once again
underpowered, he was third out of the gate but
was left towards mid pack by the first turn.
After that he picked off riders until he was
holding the sixth place spot. On the final lap
his engine let loose and the weekend was over.
Casey’s only statement was “It’s frustrating.
The bike felt good, it simply couldn’t handle
the demand I was putting on it. Hopefully by the
next race I’ll be back on a race bike and
salvage a tough season”.
Carrie got an overall 5th in the Women’s
class. After missing practice on Friday Carrie
continued to pick up speed and finish with
better lap times each time around picking off
riders where possible. “The track was great! I
had a heavy vibration in the bars from the
engine for some reason but the Precision
dampener helped keep my bars straight when my
arms got tired.” remarked Carrie after pulling
off the track from moto 2.
We are also pleased to announce two new
sponsors. In light of some parts supply issues
and engine reliability problems effective
immediately we have teamed up with JB Racing
(www.jbatvracing.com)
and Moto-Xperts (www.moto-xperts.com).
As a team we feel like this will help put us and
all of our current sponsors in a better position
to win on race day.

not be a possibility and each sponsor has went
