Rath Does It Again! – Yadkin Valley GNCC- Round

– Coming off a historical third place finish at
the Spartan GNCC, the Polaris/Rath/Dunlop team
followed up the effort with another podium
finish at Yadkin Valley GNCC- Round 8. Rath
finished third out of 11 entries in the Utility
Open Class and 52nd overall. Rath’s teammate
Frank Batista finished eighth.
Rath stated, “It was great to be able to put the
Sportsman on the podium again. I am
pleased with my performance and very proud of
the effort put forth by everyone involved with
this team. Each time we go out and compete we
discover a few more little enhancements we can
do to make us better the next round. The team is
busy preparing for Round 9 and we are excited to
be heading there.”
Polaris Racer, John Gallagher Sr., continued his
winning ways taking first in the Super Senior
class keeping him atop the class. Dustin Fulk,
sales manager at Carolina Polaris of High Point,
took fourth in the 4x4 Lites class aboard is
Sportsman 400 H.O. and Todd Rothermel took
seventh in the Junior A class.
The teams look forward to the next GNCC round,
Geico Mountain Ridge, July 5-6, in Somerset,
Penn.
