/ MSR / Pro Taper / Yoshimura / Suzuki finished
the 2008 racing season on a high note, with Chad
Wienen (#44) capturing a huge win at the Steel
City Pro-Only Invitational in Delmont, Pa.

Dustin Wimmer (#1) took the second step of the
podium and veteran Doug Gust (#55) claimed a
strong fourth.
Wienen was the Top
Qualifier in Friday's qualification session,
with Wimmer only a fraction of a second behind
him. When it was time to start the single-moto
event, their teammate Doug Gust grabbed the
holeshot on his Suzuki QuadRacer R450 and led
the opening laps. Wienen, however, was charging
hard, and on lap 3, took the lead from Gust and
powered forward in the number one spot. Wimmer,
who had a sixth-place start off the line, had to
work his way up through the pack, claiming the
second place spot on lap ten. By then, however,
Wienen's lead was too much to overcome, leaving
Wimmer settled in for second. Gust used the
momentum from his fast start to finish in fourth
place.
"I always believed I could finish
out the year strong," boasted Wienen. "I've got
an incredible machine in the QuadRacer R450, and
a great team behind me. I just needed to heal
enough to make it all come together. These last
two races have put me back where I belong."
With the win, Wienen won $5000 and a Number
One plate for the ATV Pro Open Championship.
