GBC Tires Returns
with $224,250 in Contingency Payout for Can-Am
GNCC Series
Morgantown, W.Va. (January 6, 2010) - GBC
Tires has announced they will return to the
Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series with
a contingency payout almost double of the one
offered in 2009. GBC Tires Contingency payout
for 2010 is a whopping $224,500.
"It's basically a grass roots program to
support Pro-Am all the way down to schoolboy and
youth ranks," said David Hunsucker, Events and
Marketing Coordinator for GBC Tires. "We've
upped the contingency from last year and we look
forward to being back to a busy schedule with
GNCCs and other events. We also have a new motor
home and trailer and we aren't going to be hard
to miss at the races."
GBC Tires has aimed their 2010 program at the
XC2 Class and the amateur and youth ranks for
those who finish through fifth place. The XC2
class winner will receive $300, followed by $200
for second and $150 for third.
