XTREME OUTLAW Race Father’s Day Weekend at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV

RENO, NV    JUNE 14, 2010 – Xtreme Outlaw race this weekend at the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) is breaking new terrain combining an Xtreme Outlaw 250 (XO250) desert race, Xtreme Livfast Super Moto (XLSM), and Xtreme LivFast Freestyle Motocross (XLFM) with autograph signings and plenty of entertainment including performances by The Offspring, Tommy Lee and John Huntington.

The Xtreme Outlaw 250 Desert race (XO250) is a 250 mile loop course built by Grand Marshal Rod Hall and sanctioned by VORRA.  The formal Green Flag will be thrown in the parking lot of the Grand Sierra Resort when the trucks and cars launch over a table top jump and then race down the streets of Reno to the open desert.  World class racers including John Harrah, Roger Norman, Chuck Dempsey and Sam Berri will hit the dirt, throttle up and race through mountains and valleys east of town completing three full loops, then back to the finish line jump at the GSR by late afternoon.

Xtreme LivFast Super Moto (XLSM) professionals are set to take to the track on Saturday with Pro motorcycle and ATV racers going wheel to wheel.  Supermoto is a 1.3 mile track that is ¾ asphalt and ¼ dirt with some really unique designs with an over under bridge, a 15 foot tabletop jump and hair pin corners. Several well known riders will be racing on Saturday including factory Red Bull KTM rider Cameron Beaubier, 125 Supercross champion Mickey Diamond and Jake Thompson.

Xtreme LivFast Freestyle Motocross (XLFM) is a professional racing exhibition team who will throw themselves and their bikes 70+ feet into the air completing a variety of dangerous stunts. Among the riders will be Adam Jones, 2 time X-Games gold medal winner and 2010 Red Bull X Fighters Egypt winner.  The whole LivFast crew has more medals and achievements than can be counted between Mike Mason, Dustin Miller, Greg Garrison and Tim O’Brien.  Saturday night they will step it up a notch and compete for the bragging rights of the biggest whip.

Grand Sierra Resort is topping off the weekend with live entertainment every night featuring The OffSpring in the Grand Theatre, and at The Beach DJ Tommy Lee and John Huntington of Huntington Tattoo and star of A&E’s “Inked” will be mixing up the tunes.  The Xtreme Outlaw Bar + Lounge will be open all weekend with beautiful Xtreme girls serving food and cocktails.

“We are extremely proud and excited to be a leader in producing events such as this, and bringing regional and national high action extreme sports to the Reno-Tahoe market,” said Richard Silverman the creator and founder of Xtreme Concepts, Xtreme Sports Bar + Lounge and President of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. “Our team is pumped-up to host another incredible event that is aligned with the Xtreme brand and the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. I would like to thank Shawn Maher, Rodrigo Carnerio, Tim O’Brien, Don Gilman, Rod Hall, John Harrah, Mike Croghan and Wes Harbor for all of their help in making this event become a reality.”

Xtreme Outlaw welcomes families and all ages creating a great way to celebrate Father’s Day weekend. Admission is $10 daily, and children 8 and under accompanied by an adult are free. The Xtreme Outlaw Expo consisting of a row of vendors promoting the dynamic industry of extreme sports and beyond, is free and open to the public Friday noon to 8 pm, Saturday 8am – 7pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.
