The two-wheel
drive Prairie 300 features an air-cooled,
290cc, single over-head cam four-stroke
engine; shaft drive; and utilizes the Kawasaki
Automatic Power-Drive System (KAPS). The
fully-automatic Prairie requires no shifting
once the transmission is placed into High
or Low range or reverse. There are dual
front disc brakes and MacPherson strut front
suspension. Its steel cargo racks
can carry over 250 pounds and it can tow
