 The
Mojave is Kawasaki’s expression of technologically-advanced
performance, and no better evidence
of the Mojave’s high-performance capability
and versatility can be found than on
the race courses of the Grand National
Cross Country ATV racing series where
Kawasaki Team Green™ rider Todd Knippenberg
wins races on his virtually stock Mojave,
competing against ATVs with much larger
engines.
 The
Mojave ATV is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled,
double over-head cam, 4-valve four-stroke
engine. Transferring that high-tech
power to the rear wheels is a five-speed
plus reverse manual transmission with
a lightweight, high-performance O-ring
drive chain for maximum power efficiency.
Stopping power for the Mojave is
provided by triple disc brakes, and
for maximum traction over a variety
of trail or track conditions it features
dual A-arm front suspension and a motocross-type
swingarm rear suspension. Complementing
this list of high-tech features is a
short wheelbase of 44.3 inches and an
overall width of 42.9 inches that gives
the Mojave rider a distinct advantage
where riding conditions demand an ATV
that is quick and responsive.
