FEATURES & BENEFITS
The
all-new 660R Raptor-style bodywork turns this entry-level
machine into one wicked-looking ride. All-new YZ-style
grips add extra comfort and a sporty finish.
Engine:
Feisty 79cc air-cooled single puts out smooth, reliable
4-stroke power perfectly tuned to the rider starting
to hone his or her ATV skills. Class-exclusive**
shaft drive is virtually maintenance-free and superior
to the chain drives found on some competitive models.
Easy, push-button start in any gear adds greater
convenience. Adjustable throttle limiter allows
a parent or adult supervisor to match the engine’s
power output to the rider’s skill level. 3-speed
transmission with automatic clutch ensures smooth,
easy shifting and lets the entry-level rider focus
on the trail by eliminating a hand-operated clutch.
Rugged muffler with USFS-approved spark arrestor
ensures quiet, environmentally safe operation. Automatic
cam chain tensioner helps reduce need for engine
maintenance and extend engine life.
Chassis/Suspension:
Leading-arm front suspension with 2.2" of travel
smoothes out the trail for a plush, confidence-inspiring
ride and more responsive steering. Swingarm and
a single rear shock with 2.2" of travel further
enhances rider comfort with smooth, bump-absorbing
performance. Class-longest wheelbase at 40.6" helps
accommodate a wide range of rider sizes and enhances
rider comfort with greater legroom and roomier ergonomics
not quickly outgrown as the rider gets older. 3.9"
of ground clearance. Fully sealed front and rear
drum brakes keep out water and debris, providing
strong, reliable stopping power. Beefy 18 x 7-7
front and 18 x 8-7 rear knobby tires offer excellent
traction and help boost ground clearance.
Additional Features:
Wide, cushy seat and full-size handlebars ensure
superb, all-day comfort and minimize fatigue for
even the biggest riders. Large, class-leading fuel
capacity -- 1.8 gallons -- increases range, which
means less fill-ups and more fun out on the trail.
Rugged, wide fenders with class-exclusive rear mud
flaps deliver outstanding mud and splash protection
to ensure a dry, comfortable ride.
**Includes 60-90cc ATVs.
