CYPRESS, Calif. – June 6, 2008 – Yamaha’s Raptor 350 is a popular mid-size ATV with a proven 348cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine and user-friendly features perfect for tackling just about any sport riding condition.  Hit that dune or trail, and the 350 shines with excellent throttle response and quick acceleration.

The durable 6-speed manual transmission – plus electric start and reverse – provides control over almost any terrain.  A functional, single-hand operated parking brake makes for easy and quick use while a handlebar-mounted choke lever makes getting up and running in cold weather worry-free.  What’s more, a 36mm BSR carburetor and high quality exhaust system give the machine superior throttle response and swift acceleration.  The machine’s powerplant is wrapped in a light-weight chassis.  For the rider that means excellent control and handling from this nimble Raptor.

The Raptor 350 also boasts independent double wishbone configuration up front with 7.9 inches of preload adjustable travel.  Out back is a piggyback-style rear shock with more than 8.3 inches of preload adjustable travel offering excellent rear wheel traction and a sporty feel.  Ultimately, the Raptor 350 offers true reliability in a sport ATV at a value any recreational or die-hard fan will love.

The 2009 Raptor 350, with an MSPR of $5,099, is available in Yamaha Blue/White plus a new Red/White color option at Yamaha dealerships nationwide in September 2008.
